What Eclisse makes

Eclisse makes the metal frames that are built into a wall so that a door can slide into it, or so that a hinged door closes flush with the wall. Once installed, the frame becomes part of the wall. The systems are designed for stud walls and solid masonry walls, in single and double versions, and in standard and custom sizes.

How the systems are engineered

Eclisse describes its pocket door kit as a complete unit, with pocket, track and metal doorpost installed as a single structure, built from 1.2 mm galvanised steel profiles. Each frame is made for a given door size.

Extractable track: a patented track that can be removed for cleaning, replacement or to add an accessory such as the BIAS soft-close, without opening the wall.
Runners: ball-bearing runners tested by CSI (IMQ Group) for 100,000 opening and closing cycles, carrying 100 kg per pair as standard or 150 kg on request.
Luce system: a patented wiring-ready frame that allows switches, sockets and thermostats to be placed on the wall right beside the doorway.
Installation details: a patented alignment bar, a self-centring door guide, pre-drilled dove-tail reinforcing bars for stud walls and a knurled plaster mesh for masonry walls.
